I am a “serial expat” currently living in Thailand where I have been since August 2013. I am a wife, mother of three children, and mistress of one large black hound. My husband works for an American oil company which has provided us the opportunity to live in a number of different countries around the world. Previously we had assignments in Kazakhstan, Argentina, Texas, California, Africa & London.
Currently we spend our time traveling between Butleigh, England and Breckenridge, Colorado, and everything in between of course in Bangkok, Thailand. This blog is primarily designed for our family & friends to keep track of one very ordinary family with an extra-ordinary life.

If you would like to see more photos I suggest that you contact the DAIS school and get access to their website. It’s very informative. Good Luck!

Hello there, glad you found the time to take a look, yes, that is our house in Colorado. Just arrived back in England yesterday from skiing for the last month, luckily no injuries! Tomorrow we head back to Kazakhstan so that Maddie & Ben can start school on Monday. Glad that you enjoyed the fruit & veggie box, you are more than welcome. Hope that you had a nice Christmas with family and friends. Best wishes for the New Year, and good luck in wherever your new endeavors take you. Debra Laidlaw
It was sooo much fun! I loved spending time with my family (really!) and the skiing as always was absolutley incredible!!!!!
We loved spending time with you JP!
My wife and I may move to Atyrau, Kazakhstan, where she would teach at DAIS. At this point, my primary concern is air quality. That being said, is there a lot of pollution there?
